EMC rules changes

Posted on by

In light of the delays in releasing the results for EMC 2023, we have revised the rules to facilitate a smoother competition process and to expedite the availability of results. The primary changes involve the implementation of fully local grading and the enforcement of stricter deadlines. The updated rules that will hold for EMC 2024 and onwards are available on the rules subpage, and this document has been prepared to clarify the changes for those familiar with the previous rules.

Two short news:

  • Preliminary results have been sent to the local organizers, and soon we will have final results as well.
  • As you can see at the top of the page, we have the new logo. Diplomas and medals for this year will have this new logo. We hope that you will like it.
