Dear everyone,
The 9th edition of our competition is getting closer. There are less than two weeks until this year’s competition, which will be held from 12th to 20th of December.
We are pleased to announce that local organizers from over 20 different countries confirmed their participation.
We would also like to thank everyone who sent their problem proposals this year.
We really appreciate your contribution to the competition.

9th EMC to take place this December
There is less than two months until the 9th EMC.
This year’s competition will take place from 12th to 20th of December. The problem proposal deadline is 26th of November.
We have made some changes to the rules. It is now possible to write EMC online via a video call.

2 weeks until the 8th EMC
Dear all,
we’re excited to announce that the 8th EMC is only 2 weeks away!
This year, the competition takes place between 14th and 22nd December.
More than 15 countries already confirmed their participation, mostly locations with a tradition of being a part of the competition, but there is also a country making its debut in the competition – Italy.

Congratulations to all of the contestants, especially the medalists for their remarkable success among many top contenders. Students from record-breaking 23 countries participated in this edition!

Writing of the 7th EMC finished
The writing of this years edition has ended!
Students from as many as 23 countries have participated, including 5 new participating countries.
The marking process follows and the unofficial results can be expected in several weeks.

3 weeks until the 7th EMC
We’re less than 3 weeks away from the start of the 7th EMC!
We’re pleased to announce that 3 new countries will make their debut in the competition: Austria, Georgia and Iran.
We wish the best of luck to them and to all other participating countries.
We would also like to thank all those who sent their problem proposals this year.

The final results of this year’s edition are finally here and can be viewed on the Results page.
We would like to congratulate all of the competitors who provided some excellent solutions and achieved great results on the difficult problems that were selected.
