we’re excited to announce that the 8th EMC is only 2 weeks away!
This year, the competition takes place between 14th and 22nd December.
More than 15 countries already confirmed their participation, mostly locations with a tradition of being a part of the competition, but there is also a country making its debut in the competition – Italy.

Congratulations to all of the contestants, especially the medalists for their remarkable success among many top contenders. Students from record-breaking 23 countries participated in this edition!
Many thanks to the problem proposers and local organizers who help us ensure that the competition grows in popularity and quality each year. Hopefully, we’ll continue to do so in many editions to come.

We’re less than 3 weeks away from the start of the 7th EMC!
We’re pleased to announce that 3 new countries will make their debut in the competition: Austria, Georgia and Iran.
We wish the best of luck to them and to all other participating countries.
We would also like to thank all those who sent their problem proposals this year.

This year’s competition dates are from 8th to 16th of December, while the problem proposal deadline is 15th of November.

We would like to congratulate all of the competitors who provided some excellent solutions and achieved great results on the difficult problems that were selected.
Also, many thanks to all of the local organizers and those who sent us problem proposals. All of them played a great part in organizing the competition successfully in almost 20 countries!
With 2017 getting close to its ending, another edition of EMC is almost set to begin. 6th EMC is bringing several new countries into the competition and we can proudly inform you that competitors from as many as 16 different countries will be participating this year! Great news for everyone, from the organizers to the competitors themselves. This year’s edition is being held between 9th and 17th December. Be sure to check the problems and the results afterwords.
